I have decided that every now and again I will post some administrative stuff, to remind readers of a few things that might get buried in the normal firehose flow of the blog.
1) I’m on quite a few social networks! You can add me as a friend/subscribe to my stuff on MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Mahalo, Flickr, and YouTube.
2) If you like something you see here, please click the Digg, Reddit, Stumbleupon and/or Slashdot button. I put them at the top of every article to make it easy. Spread the love! I check Digg’s space section at least twice a day to see what’s hot, and you should too.
3) There is a whole big website attached to this blog.
4) I have a policy on commenting here, which basically boils down to "Don’t be a jerk." Still, please read that link for details. I also have a statement on my posts about politics and religion. There is a link on every blog page about it, right under my logo to the right.
5) Did you know I shill stuff? I have a bookstore and a Cafe Press store.
6) As time goes on, I’ll probably add more stuff to this list.
That’s it. Thanks!

I’m not a trackback I’m a HUMAN BEING!
…
Seemed the most reasonable thing to say at the time.

Phil, I’ve tried adding you on Myspace before, but it says you don’t accept invites from bands*. What’s up with that?
* I’m not even in a band, anyway. I’m a composer who does everything on my computer so I have a Myspace “band” account instead of a personal account.

I keep forgetting that you have a full website…but I do have one little complaint! I wish you would do more movie reviews! I know they must be a lot of work, but I always get such a kick reading about the bad science.

I too must say I enjoy the bad science movie reviews.

I also miss the stream of Bad Astronomy movie & TV reviews. I think the solution would be to dedicate a slot in the forum for guests to post their own BA reviews. They could all follow the precedented format laid out by classic BA reviews, but all content would be the sole responsibility of the reviewers themselves.

By the way, I can’t help noticing the Bad Astronomy thong at Cafe Press. I’d be disappointed had there been no thong!!

Can you make your RSS list longer? Often an interesting discussion drops off the list after a day or two due to prolific blogging our your part…

Can you imagine the script a couple could follow while incorporating the thong into their intimate proceedings?: “I’ve been a very, very ba-a-a-a-ad astronomer!”

Is there some reason why going to many BA pages now causes a dialog box to pop up asking you to run an ActiveX control? It gets kind of annoying after a while.

Any problem with shilling requests for Minties? http://podblack.wordpress.com/2008/01/15/bad-without-minties/

I’ve seen you on facebook before but never added you because I thought it was your personal networking thing or something. Oh well, if you say it’s ok on your blog, I’ll add you on facebook for sure.

Thanks for the update Phil. Any thoughts of updating the blog’s theme to something a little more modern, like K2? Also, it doesn’t look like you are running the ‘Bad Behavior’ plug-in. VERY recommended!

Did you really mean “…Stumbleupon and/exclusive or slashdot…”?
