Astrology didn’t see that coming

You know what’s fun about irony? How ironic it is.

BABloggee Brian McCarty sends me the wonderful news (via the Straight Dope Message Board) that The Astrological Magazine had to close down shop. That’s good enough news, of course… but it gets better.

Why, you may ask, did it shut down?

Unforeseen circumstances.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I love reality.

Bummer; looks like even using the Google Cache link didn’t save the comedy. All that shows up is a default “hey, good job, you’ve set up your hosting / domain” page.

I just checked… the Google cache page was taking forever to load, but going to the original page worked just fine. It still has its “We regret to announce” message.

Hate to say it, but I doubt they’d even make the connection.

Regardless, this story is completely hilarious.

There’s no way you’ll ever get me to believe in something as dumb as astrology. I’m a Taurus, and we’re very stubborn.
