Shatner knows he can't sing so why not play it for laughs? As for Nimoy's Bilbo, I liked it. I used to have his LP, the one with the drawing of him with a sucker in his mouth, and I actually enjoyed it. I guess I just go for the off-beat kind of stuff, which is also why I love Dementia music. I thought it was funny, which I’m sure it was intended to be.
