Astronomy Cast live blogging from the Cape!

submit to reddit

Pamela from Astronomy Cast just dropped me a note to let y’all know that she and fellow Astronomy Caster Rebecca are at the Lunar and Planetary Society Conference in Houston, and are live-blogging the event. Also, her student Scott Miller is at Cape Canaveral, and he’ll be live-blogging the Shuttle launch on Tuesday!

So if you want up-to-the-minute astronomy news and rocket launches, you know where to go.

The most complete - and fastest - coverage of shuttle launches and operations usually comes from here.

    BA,

Is there anywere we can send you pics of the shuttle launch? I’m in the Daytona Beach area and think I can get a pretty good shot.

firemancarl, that’s a fantastic offer! It’s a stretch, but you can post astronomy-related images on BAUT in the Astrophotography section. Tell everyone I said it was OK. :-) I don’t think anyone will mind.
