Blog going off line for a little while

I will be upgrading (actually, reinstalling) WordPress on this new server to hopefully get rid of a few extremely irritating little bugs pestering me. You may be able to read the blog but not comment for a while, and then it’ll be offline for just a few minutes. In that case, why am I writing this? I dunno; I guess I like the sound of my keyboard.

Update: I have reinstalled WordPress, and though I’m having some issues with administration, everything should be working for you, my BABlogees. Use the comment section below to report any problems. Thanks!

That minute without you was a minute full of fear and incredulity, Phil.

Well, not really. But it’s good to see you back. Hope you got rid of those bugs.

Did the bugs include the “cannot write to …..” error messages I’ve been getting randomly for the last week or so?

trebuchet, that’s the main one I’m hoping to get rid of with this reinstall. It seems to appear at random, so only time will tell.

Out of curiosity Phil, where do you host this thing?

So, I presume it’s hosted in Seattle.

Phil why don’t you grow up and correct your mistakes instead of deleting my comments …

I’ve been going through your posts and well your really making some minor mistakes!
Are you sure your an astronomer? you should know the facts. Your post here has some wrong info and your video about the asteroid .. well you made some distance related mistakes .

Also some other tidbits like when you were explaining some important facts well.. are you sure your an astronomer? your info is very wrong on alot of your posts.

your degrading astronomy . Maybe you should not be in the debunking astronomy business.

    Phil’s info is wrong Astronomer?

Phil is such a nincompoop he has no idea of what science really is , he makes constant mistakes that an astronomer should know . he is a retarded idiot pretending to be important , he doesn’t even work !!

“I’ve been going through your posts and well your really making some minor mistakes!”

There is one mistake that you made, *repeatedly*, in that post of yours, “Astronomer”. I’ll leave it to you to figure out what it is.

  18. 18.   Kevin Says:
    March 19th, 2008 at 1:14 pm

“Doesn’t even work ? Phil why are you lying about being an astronomer if your not working ?”

what in the world are you talking about?

I had a little blog weirdness a couple of hours ago, apparently getting bounced back to the old server. The latest post was, I think, the Queen Victoria one. Now things are back to normal, unfortunately including trolls. A little more maintenance, I presume.

I wonder……… are “Astronomer” and “rusty” the same person? They certainly seem to appear one after the other a lot………….
