the SERVER is chat1.ustream.tv and the CHANNEL is #bad-astronomy

(note the typo before “tv”). But mildly experienced irc users should have no problem using what was in your post.

Can we get transcripts of these talks? Alas but my computer has no working sound … & I’m struggling to get the money to fix it.
(I’d would rather read than listen anyhow – many ear infections & operations as a kid mean my hearing sucks.)

Did you see the huge list of questions I had for you on the last of these (think it twas anyhow?) which I suggested on the Blitzfeed comments thingummy?
