You go girls! Part II »

John McCain has a plan…

I was just reading a random website about Battlestar Galactica, and I saw a picture on it of Colonel Saul Tigh. It suddenly occurred to me how much he looks like John McCain. I was all ready to make a funny photoshop of it, but I should’ve realized there are no original ideas on the web anymore.

I’m not trying to make a political statement here (I would if there were one to make!). I just think this is funny.

LOL. You’re right – he does look like McCain.

That’s nothing – I made the Joe Lieberman-Senator Palpatine connection YEARS before anyone else bothered to think of it. ‘course, that’s been on the web for years.

So, John McCain a cylon. Wonder what model number he might be, number e, or perhaps number pi. Either way I got a feeling he’s irrational :D

(My apologies to people who are offended by poor attempts at humor.)

Thanks, but remember, One fat, hairy old white guy looks pretty much like another,,,

He reminds me more of Victor Meldrew.

Aside from McCain’s SciFi twin, here is well-known old favorite, but for the benefit of the one person who hasn’t seen it:

    @ Tom…

Only if they are the sixes and eights. :)

Curious, since McCain is a Republican and the original Colonel Tigh was black.

So much has changed since the seventies.

    “Tom
I for one welcome our new Cylon overlords…”

    By your command

    McCain’s face is scrunchier.

Also, this is funny, my wife and I were just wondering how old Michael Hogan — the actor who plays Tigh — is. So I went to IMDB to look him up? No DOB. Checked his Wiki? No DOB. What’s that all about. Guys aren’t supposed to be demure about their age.

  12. 12.   Gumba Masta Says:
    May 17th, 2008 at 4:51 pm

Oh that one’s simple to answer.
Hogan has no DOB because he was born before humans started tracking time in a calendar system.

There is a website comparing BSG characters to the Pres. nominees.

I also welcome our cylon number 6 overlord. Cylon number 6 can overlord me anytime, which sounds really kinky, but hey…

    Speaking of curious:

    LOL, Robert

  16. 16.   Mark Martin Says:

Robert, it’s ironic that in the current administration, the title “Curious George” is an oxymoron.

  17. 17.   Michael Lonergan Says:
    May 17th, 2008 at 6:36 pm

If McCain is a Cylon, I wish they’d box him like they did with D’Anna.

Make it so… Oops, wrong show. BYC

  19. 19.   JamesTCA Says:

Obama looks like the Black cylon. If you put 6 through a meat grinder, she might look like Hillary.

  20. 20.   Bert Chadick Says:

    Dam frakin’ toasters are everywhere.

  21. 21.   Lugosi Says:
    May 18th, 2008 at 9:21 pm

Well, now that the final model has finally been revealed, I won’t have to watch the show any more.

  22. 22.   Joe Meils Says:
    May 19th, 2008 at 9:30 am

LOL.. yes, McCain is a toaster.

The question I always have had about the new BSG: why should the audiance be on the side of the humans, anyway? The Cylons are indistinguishable from humans, they are an intelligent machine that evolves… Isn’t that EXACTLY what we’re trying to accomplish? They can ressurrect, they can change, they can show emotion and compassion…

Ultimately, what’s the difference which side would win? Either way, human-like intelligence (with all it’s advantages AND it’s flaws)continues.

I have this odd feeling that, by the time we get to finding the way to “Earth”… the point would be moot.

Seriously, I saw this on my laptop monitor and had to look twice to figure out who was who!

  24. 24.   JB of Brisbane Says:
    May 19th, 2008 at 6:20 pm

I thought the photo of McCain above looks more like Nikita Khrushchev…

Khrushchev – you know, the one who came before Leonid… oh, forget it!

  25. 25.   kebsis Says:

”Is America ready for a Cylon president?”

…I thought we already had one?

Oh, remember how you were complaining about McCain being endorsed by Rev. Hagee:
