I saw a spoof map of an "Typical American's idea of Britain" once - it had just three main areas: London and Stratford (thanks to Shakespeare) with Scotland as a vague blob on top! Nowadays Cardiff might be stuck on the side thanks to all the Dr. Who mania, and I'm sure some Americans think we're in the Middle East somewhere, but you get my drift...

As far as I'm concerned you could saw London and the entire SE off and let it sink into the Channel, I wouldn't miss it!

I wasn't able to attend today. Was it recorded by chance?

Enjoyed the live chat today. I try to keep up with what everyone is saying. I'll try to figure out how to log on by next time. When I tried it told me I was already logged on. I found myself as one of those numbered people, but didn't want to miss anything long enough to figure out how to change my name. Is there a blogging for dummies?
And Elwood, I think the reason they always hold events in London is because you can reach London faster than my daily commute to work. That was envy, not scorn.

Thanks for the chat. I was finally able to tune into one before it ended! (This can be tough with two not-as-Bigfeet running around the house on a weekend afternoon, but today friends kept them occupied.)

I hope someday you will visit the Pacific Northwest.

Thanks from me too - first time I've tried this, I managed to see the live video but I couldn't find the chat room. I set up an account to ask a question but I'm not sure I got that right either! Anyway, some interesting topics covered, and very informative.

Oh - if there is to be a UK TAM at some point, I just hope it isn't in London! (Why does London always get all the attention, and the rest of the UK always misses out?) If there's a meeting anywhere else in the UK I'll try to get to it, but inside the boundary of the M25 I turn into a pillar of salt, or something. I don't want to go there to find out! Seriously though, I'm a Londonophobe - it's just too hectic a place for me. If you have any influence, please mention that there is more to the U.K. than London. That's all!
