Since I've had a post "awaiting moderation" for 2 days now, I'm just going to re-post it sans a wikipedia link:

====
@ utakata:
Yeah, kind of hard pressed for money at the moment, but Gantz vol 1 will be on my rack soon enough. I also have NOiSE, and I wish TokyoPop would pick up Nihei’s “Biomega” and “Net Sphere Engineer”. If you have the first 9 volumes of Battle Angel, you SO need the Last Order series. It picks up at about the half-point of volume 9 of the first series (where the baby doll goes BOOM) and continues from that point. Yukito was sick during that time period and rushed the ending. When he got better back in 2000 I think, he started on Last Order, continuing the story as he had intended.

@ Phil:
Phil, here’s an anime that you would probably find very interesting: Noein
You can read about it *at wikipedia*.

You would probably enjoy Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and Neon Genesis Evangelion as well. All three are great classics and are usually considered benchmarks for other anime. Although quite long, you may enjoy the manga series “Berserk”. One of the titles that utakata mentioned, Eureka seveN, you may greatly enjoy. It also has a 50-episode anime series to go with it.

Though not anime, another great series to check out is, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Just curious -- WHY does it take so long for a completed book to be released? I've been hearing about this one for months and it's still not out yet?

OH! OH! OH!
So cool. Mahalo Daily's great.

And, I almost wish that I hadn't taken extra classes this summer so that I could've skipped to California for Comic Con. Almost. I could've totally stalked you for an autograph. ;)
