Doctor Who U

Man, what I need is infinite time (ironically) and infinite money. Then I could attend the three day academic conference on Doctor Who at Cardiff University.

Do they give credit for it? Do they give retroactive credit for it?

If I attended, I’m sure (ironically again) the time zone difference would be awful. I’d need some sort of alarm clock to make absolutely sure I got up and out of bed. I’d hate to be lazy and then exterminated.

Oh– speaking of Who news, congrats to Billie Piper on the birth of her son!

You’re about 8 hours behind Londaon. My own experience with international travel is that when traveling east, it’s fairly easy to get to sleep early and play catch up to your new location. When traveling back to Co., it will be quite a bit more tasking, as your body thinks it’s late, but the sun keeps saying “howdy” at the ungodly hour of midnight(body time).

Hope you make it some day soon.

Phil, are you certain there isn’t a way to rig your TARDIS usb hub to get to the classes and back before you actually leave?

Wonderful news about Billie! Here’s hoping her son will be happy, healthy, and as brilliant as she can help him to be.

All the Best for Billie Piper and family.

Does this mean she will be able to start shooting new episodes of the Secret Diary of a Call Girl series?
    Sweet…

Is this the start of a new Abbot & Costello routine?

    “What university is that?”

So, with all the neat new dalek clocks you’d need to get…… where’s the downside again?

I’ve always thought it was going east that was the most difficult — you have to get up earlier in the morning. When friends and family travel west to Alaska, mornings are easier and they get tired earlier but seem to recover from jet lag more quickly. When they go east to their home, or when we go visit them, it’s really hard to get up at 7 a.m. when that’s really 3 a.m. to us.
