I won’t give away the punch line to this comic called The New Adventures of Queen Victoria… but we are amused.

    Hehehe.

The message still isn’t getting through as to just who is running the JREF these days is it Phil? They keep using that Randi bloke’s name.

    ;-)

Yeah, Shane. When does the PPEF start up? Or at least the PREF (Phil-Randi Ed. Foundation)?

No, I don’t run the organization. Not really. It’s more complicated than that, like a baseball game: it’s Randi’s team, and I’m the coach. Still not a perfect analogy, but close. And it’ll never be PPEF! That’s not the point; Randi is The Man and the JREF will always ever be thus.

Yeah we know Phil, just joshin’ but who’s on first?

    And it’ll never be PPEF!
Obviously you couldn’t rename any organisation to something that started with PP (Pee Pee).
    That’s it, I’ll stop now.
    :-D

Hmmm, still no werewolf references? Disappointed.

Well it is too late now Phil.

Ok, that’s it. I am really getting back in my box now. Good night.

Phil, your photos have a pareidolic (pareidoliastic?) effect…when I see one, I see James Randi.

You should find someone who has the aging simulation software that law enforcement types use for missing persons and see if the Phil of the Future takes on the Randi of Right Now look. ;-)

    @Phil Plait

    Hmmm, still no werewolf references?

Well, no, BA. I mean, we just passed the new moon, so it would, at best, be only a little sliver right now. Hardly enough to bring werewolves out. And I thought this was an astronomy blog! :)

I didn’t really think it was funny at all. I didn’t even chuckle. Is it a spoof on American politcal ads?

However, I did chuckle just now as I typed “chackle” instead of “chuckle” (I fixed the typo first, though)

    Pete

Please show the whole cartoon strip. I clicked on the strip and got the “x”. Apparently my network here at work won’t show the pix.

That is hilarious, and yet so apropos of the times we live in. I love it!

What do you have against exploring new frontiers, Phil?
