Thanks buddy! I'm gonna have to start watching this. I had seen Dr. Who on PBS for many years and have been lost, but now, with this, from what I can gather, pilot episode, I am HOOKED! Awesome.
It was great, even though it was in black and white I was captivated! Thank you sir for yet another great addition to my sphere.

It's hard to believe it's been on for so long. Longer than I've been around. Congrats.

I just recently (!) started watching the new Doctor Who (I didn't want to start in the middle) and have really gotten back into it. Reading about it on Wikipedia, I was shocked that they destroyed so much of the Dr. Who library. Some people have no sense of history...

And on that note, will someone please tell me Donna Noble isn't as annoying in season 4 as she was in the Christmas special. That was more painful than pre-Cybermen Mickey Smith.

Ah!, this brings it all back.
The days when sink plungers were merely household plumbing devices, trannies were portable radios, London was permanently enveloped in smog and teenaged girls all looked like Helen Shapiro.
In just half an hour, police boxes grew bigger on the inside, for all time.....

In Florida, I performed at a local community theater with a director named Geoffrey Todd who had a British accent. I mentioned Doctor Who during a break in rehearsal one night and he said, "Oh, I was on that show all the time in bad plastic monster outfits!" I did two shows at that theater so I got a bunch of Pertwee/Baker stories from him.

Here's to many more years and Doctors!
