BTW. Phil not to ruin a good funny thread with dour science but your equation of space = cold is bad astronomy isn’t it? Space has no temperature at all, its just vacuum – some parts like that around a bright star would actually be incredibly hot, others like the (okay much larger ) space far between any brightstars are well pretty fosh-durned cold.
