Well, I was chuckling at the poorly dressed individual in that picture. Your Cousin dresses SMASHINGLY! How I envy his fashion sense!

Thank you, John Powell. My kids are 13 and 15, so I’d read through these before trying them with the kids. I consider such warnings. But it sounds like these are not my sort of reading material.

So many books, so little time. I think our next one is Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit 451″ – checked out of the university library – recycle the dead trees.

Phil said “if you’re some kind of young kid who likes to listen to books instead of hold them in your hands like you’re supposed to …”

There are other reasons for listening than being a young kid. Have you ever driven across Kansas on I-70? 425 miles that’s fairly boring in the summertime. It goes by a lot faster if someone is reading to you. And if you don’t have someone who will do that in person, audio books are handy.

Reading to your kids is one of the best family things you can do. But it sounds like Scott Sigler’s aren’t appropriate.
