I loves me some Skepchicks, especially when they let me blather in a podcast with them!
The podcast is (almost) safe for work, with some words bleeped out using a scream I recorded for them in a previous podcast (though they missed at least one from Sam, so fairly warned be ye, says I). Here’s the MP3 link, and you can subscribe to them here. I’ll add that while we spend at least four minutes covering serious topics, we also spend a lot of time teasing each other. Every time I do an interview with serious people I joke around, and when I do interviews with friends it’s always just inside jokes, puns, and teasing. So if you don’t get all the jokes, that’s OK. I didn’t either. But the part about My Close Personal Friend Adam Savage 29 minutes in is pretty funny.

Downloading now… I shall apply the Pepsi Challenge to their “In The Lounge” series, as I pit it against my current fave, “Drinking Skeptically” by The Skeptic Zone.
(BTW, any chance of acquiring an unedited version of the show? “Bad” words don’t bother me.)

Sorry, make that “(Drinking Skeptically in) The Think Tank ” by The Skeptic Zone…

Alright, that was pretty hard to follow at times. But funny all the way
Phil, were you the only one who wasn’t drunk?

Listened on my walk this morning. I think I scared a tourist in the Post Office when I started laughing for no reason. The locals are used to seeing me laugh “out of context”. Great show !

It was definitely a funny show, though quite chaotic due to everyone being in different locations.

“I’ve never heard of that man”
LOL!
That’s an honest answer for the description for that “calendar model”
Nice podcast by the way!
Congrats!

Skepchick…that’s so cute! It’s almost as good as “spacebabe.”

off topic, 110 gram meteorite crashed into a house in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, yesterday.

Man, I am now part of the few Skeptics who can’t drink at all! Does cider count in the lounge?

Wow, that was really grating to listen to. I can only take about 10 minutes of drunk people blathering on before I have to turn it off. (assuming I am not drinking myself, that is, haha)

I love the Skepchicks, especially since I got to know one of them personally. Honestly if you get the chance you should meet them they are great people.
