Well, more like a tell-some: a great article on Teller (of Penn & Teller) is in a Las Vegas Weekly from November 2008. It’s really well done, and quite worth reading. It’s nice to see something that long written with some style and care for the story. I’ve seen the red ball trick described in the article, and it really is cool. Penn is right– for the audience, it just looks like a cute trick, but people in the know understand just how incredibly difficult it really is, and how well Teller performs it.

Those two really get on my nerves by the way in which they present their own show, they talk so vulgar as if they’re some kind of… but the subjects which they talk about are very interesting!

That was a great article! Thanks for sharing! I lived in Omaha, NE for 3 years and never heard of Abbott in the local lore. Wish I had.

Well, sure. It takes years to master the mystical tomes and channel the powers of Magick properly.

I caught their show and saw the trick.
I was blown away. Sure, it wasn’t the one where coins become fish, but this one was so simple and yet amazing. The ball acted alive, but we all knew it wasn’t.

Mmm. I need some money so I can catch them in Vegas – maybe even during TAM! I envy you BA – hanging around with some of the funniest and best magicians on the planet.

I am going to have to go to their show as well. Plus, Star Trek: The Experience re-opens May 8th, supposedly!

@ matteus,
Wow, I hadn’t heard about that! I went for the first time last August and was very sad to think it was all going to be demolished a few weeks later. Even if I never go back, I’m glad to know that the Experience will live on.

Penn and Teller’s magic is awesome awesome. But I think I like their BS! shows even better.
