If you don’t listen to Skeptoid, well, you should. It’s a short skeptical podcast done by my fellow Skeptologist Brian Dunning. And if you didn’t listen before, now you have good reason to: on April 18th, he’s throwing a party!
The party features a live mentalism performance by Mark Edward, special guests Yau-Man Chan and Ryan Johnson, a live Skeptoid presentation, formal catered dinner & drinks, live music & entertainment, and the exclusive unveiling of the Secret Project from the Skeptoid skunkworks.
It’s at the University of California, Irvine, so if you’re in the area, you should go. And if you’re a TV producer, you should greenlight The Skeptologists. I’m just sayin’.

We need a skeptics party on the east coast…. Baltimore/DC area. All the fun stuff seems to happen west of the Mississippi.

How about some skeptical action in the Panhandle of Florida?

Nice plug there for the Skeptologists.
What news on that front? Any movement at all?

*sigh* San Francisco has always been one of my favorite cities on the planet. I wish I were living there – then I could make it to these parties. Where I’m at my brain cells are dying of loneliness – it’s so hard to find intelligent people to talk to.

Would it count as ironic if people started listening to Skeptoid just because the BA told them to?

^ Try living in the Bible Belt. There are islands of intelligence surrounded by oceans of religious goofballs.

Jack, you should look into the National Capital Area Skeptics.

woot! woot! I party with a bunch of folks that don’t believe in anything except promoting their latest book, cafe express shirt, podcast, etc… Sounds like a blast. Do you do Bar Mitzvah’s?
