[Routemasters] is currently re-running on BBC Radio 7. If you're allowed, I think you can play episode two. Lots of England-centred culture references from the 1990s that I barely remember, so good luck.

As far as I can make out, a pair of crazed museum curators from the future are interfering with great art and achievement in history so that the only place you can get that culture is their museum. They pick on their victim just as their gifts flower, and wreck things for them. One of their first victims was Chesney Hawkes.

This is in the story, I mean.

Given that he's still travelling around in a 1960's Police Box, a more fitting vehicle for interplanetary bus travel would have been a classic RouteMaster.

The young lady you're almost certainly thinking of is Michelle Ryan; known, on this side of the Atlantic, for being one of the Slater sisters on EastEnders, which is popular but which I can't stand. Across the pond, though, she was the Bionic Woman in the short-lived remake... Which I'm guessing is where most folks here will know her from.

I listened to all the Doctor Who soundtracks as I was running that little Marathon back in Feb... well, I listen to them all the time... well, not ALL the time, but most of the time, and especially when I'm running, and I do agree: That music is not on any of the existing soundtracks.

The Christmas Special was "The Next Doctor"; technically, that was special number one (although since there's been a Christmas special every year so far for the new series, it doesn't feel quite like part of the set, somehow). As to Pitch Black, that was pretty much my first thought on seeing this. Particularly given the prominent soundbite about "Three suns". I'm betting the Doctor won't be shanking any monstrosities with a personal grooming appliance, though...

Kinda makes me think of 'Pitch Black' with the flying swarms of chompy things.

And 'Langoliers' was the one with the airliner that slips out of time.

A little bit of Midnight, yes, and I detect a touch of Stephen King in there too... What's the name of the one where the airliner slips in time and is almost eaten by some really badly done CGI critters?

I'm a little skeptical about this one. But it does have Michelle Ryan so can't be all bad.
