I feel really, really bad for all the autistic kids who are growing up now, and will soon read how their parents would have rather they died than be the people they are.

I agree that I've been unhappy with those anti-vax posts on Huffington Post, especially by Kennedy (who otherwise is a very good advocate for the environment and social justice, but he's nuts on this vaccination thing).

But I think rather than dismissing HuffPo you should try to get published on it. It is am increasingly important media outlet, other than those anti-vax articles it has many excellent writers and posts, and I think YOUR particular writing style and your advocacy or true science would be welcome by its readers.

@dilapidus: How about the third post in the comments by Larian LeQuella? Start there.

tim Says:
April 28th, 2009 at 9:37 pm
“her campaign, which, if successful, will bring back measles and polio to our children. Read it if you dare.”

That’s where I stopped reading your rant.

What about that line made you stop reading? The fact that it's the truth and already happening?

Dilapidus, I didn't claim to have disproved them; I said that they had been disproven. That is, by others, previously, in other vaccination threads.

By the way, you do realise that needle-stick is another way that Hep B can be transmitted, don't you? And that addicts aren't the most tidy of people when it comes to disposing of their needles? So a child is at risk especially as they aren't the most discriminating at what they touch or pick up.

Out of curiosity, which brands of the Hep B vaccine contain thimerosal? According to www.fda.gov/cber/vaccine/Thimerosal.htm none of the vaccines for Hep B, whether singly or in combination, contain thimerosal.
