I am an astronomer, writer, and skeptic. I likes reality the way it is, and I aims to keep it that way. My real name is Phil Plait, and I run the Bad Astronomy blog.

That can't be right. I'm pretty sure it was this plane that Phil boarded, and not some wings of steel. If you look closely enough, you can even see Phil taking a spa right beside WW.

Nitpicking the nitpicking, hopefully before JP beats me to it: Wings of aluminium, titanium and composites (say, A340).

Staving off nitpicking of nitpicking of nitpicking: Plus assorted electronics, hydraulics and landing gear. But mostly fuel I think, for example an A380 have 155 m^3 of it in the wings. (I can't get an estimate of wing weight though.)

Subluxations?
They are old sensations!

I have for sale a new
form of woo:
SUPERLUXATIONS

Oh for a booth at TAM
to sell my scam.

You lot might be the ideal
Rube ore schlemiel.

(Oh no excuse my rambling,
I have you confused with the gambling.)

15. George E Martin Says: "PZ usually tries to set up some sort of social meeting with his minions, often at a venue where one can get beer, when he is attending something. I wonder if BA could do the same?"

Is there any venue in Vegas where you *can't* get beer? And just about anything else? (and for those of you with your minds where they shouldn't be, prostitution is illegal in Clark County).
