CoS 113

I’m busy recovering from Comic Con as well as prepping a CC post, so in the meantime why not head over to The Dynamics of Cats to read the 113th Carnival of Space? That’ll keep your mind off the anticipation of me posting all my cool pix from the con this year.

    Phil,

You’re getting slower in your old age … we were all actually expecting you to post pictures while you were THERE … but we’ll wait … no rush.

    Done yet?

    How about now?

    now?

    Ok … Now?!?!

What does it say about me that I was thinking this post was about the Church of Scientology until I actually read it?

When did comicon become the venue for debuting new movies, games and tv shows?
    i’m confused.

    @ DLC:

When big movie studios found out that the demographics of Comicon match the demographics of those who go to see their crappy comic-book movies.

Using “comic book” in a pejorative sense, mind you.

Phil Plait, the creator of Bad Astronomy, is an astronomer, lecturer, and author. After ten years working on Hubble Space Telescope and six more working on astronomy education, he struck out on his own as a writer. He's written two books, dozens of magazine articles, and 12 bazillion blog articles. He is a skeptic and fights the abuse of science, but his true love is praising the wonders of real science.
