    Hate to do this but…

Texas – doomed. Schools are now REQUIRED to teach the Bible in Texas.

Ah, Tom beat me to it… Texas… doomed!!!

Habitation intention? Other stuff? Stuff presumbly being planets. Habitation presumably being by humans.

Well okay, but just remember that Pluto’s already inhabited by us plutonium beings! ;-)

You can have Eris though! :-P

  4. 4.   Erudite being from Eris Says:

    No you can’t!

Eris is our home, find your own planet – Makemake maybe?

  5. 5.   Mad being from Makemake Says:

Oh alright then, you can make Makemake your home too as long as you don’t make Makemake too messy! ;-)

Just remember to bring plenty of beer and plutonium (I hear beer is good & we can always use plutonium as the main energy & life source here) and leave your creationists, homeopathists, chiropracters and dentists behind. We don’t want them here on Makemake – or the loons who protested Cassini’s flight to Saturn or the LHC either!
    :-P

You’re welcome to come & visit our ice dwarf planets too! :-)

Tourism – like our world’s orbits – is pretty slow out here in the Edgeworth-Kuiper belt & beyond & it may take you a while to get here but we’ll promise you a warm welcome! Well over three degrees Kelvin warm anyway! ;-)

    Hey, everything’s relative right?

    Especially extended families natch!

(Of course, being plutonium based lifeforms all our families are nuclear!) ;-)

Okay y’all are welcome on our little ice dwarf planets too – except for your IAU mob anyway! ;-)

Tourism – like our world’s orbits – may be a bit slow & it might take you a while to travel out here but you’ll get a very warm welcome from us … Well over 3 degrees Kelvin anyhow! ;-)

(Hey its all relative – especially extended families! Not that we have those – being plutonium based lifeforms we’re all nuclear families! ;-) )

    • About Bad Astronomy

Phil Plait, the creator of Bad Astronomy, is an astronomer, lecturer, and author. After ten years working on Hubble Space Telescope and six more working on astronomy education, he struck out on his own as a writer. He's written two books, dozens of magazine articles, and 12 bazillion blog articles. He is a skeptic and fights the abuse of science, but his true love is praising the wonders of real science.

The original BA site (with the Moon Hoax debunking, movie reviews, and all that) can be found here.

"If things worked the way I wanted them to, any reporter about to do another 'sensational' story on deadly meteors would consult this volume, and bang! common sense would find its way into the news. How strange would that world be?"

"Reading this book is like getting punched in the face by Carl Sagan. Frightening, but oddly exhilarating."
