I just got back from Dragon*Con, and I plan on writing up some thoughts on it when I get a chance. Until then, the folks at D*C just posted an interview I did with them last year. It’s really long but full of brilliance and wisdom. Or mostly me talking up the end of the world, the JREF, and skepticism. You know the drill.

End of the world? Sounds like a great idea for a book!

You did an interview?

“You know the drill…”
Would that be click to embiggen…?
I tried to use that as a pick-up line and got smacked upside the head…
Seriously, though, good stuff, Phil. Always appreciate your talks and interviews wherever they are!
Also, speaking of interviews, William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy did an interview at Dragon*Con. It is hilarious! It’s on YouTube.

Better to get smacked upside the head than kicked in the embiggener

Went to some of the panels you guys did this year, loved them all.

And I’m a bit cross with you, Doctor. I got up early to go to the “News About Hubble” panel specifically to see you only to find that you were not there. This is not a complaint, mind you. The panel was extremely informative but I was specifically after some celebrity.

NEB, wouldn’t that be the embiggenee? The role as embiggener seems to be more appropriately ascribed to the kicker/clicker.
