It was a pleasure to talk to you Phil, even with my ‘funny’ accent and ‘u-filled’ humour! It was really surreal – I’m so used to hearing interviews with you on shows that I listen to that I kinda got wrapped up in you talking, and then when you finished on something I kept having ‘oh, wait, this is a conversation, I need to speak back now!’ moments… weird.

If you’d like more silly/correct-accented podcasting action, you could always check out Skeptics with a K, too, which also features a little of me with the rest of the Merseyside Skeptics Society…

Hey! Canadians spell it “humour” as well.

And speaking of Montys and Pythons, NASA completely demoralized the Society for Putting Things on Top of Other Things, when they started shuttling the Shuttle on top of a 747. “Top that SPTTOT!” was heard from a NASA official in the 70s.

I dunno. Due to inflation, jokes are worth 4.7% less today than they were last year, so I’m not sure it’s worth it. I’d be losing humor.

The bit about lecturing the feces-throwing monkey on good manners is the best analogy I’ve ever heard about debating science deniers. It’s so true.
