Naomi,
You have my sympathies, TAM! Australia is on my wedding anniversary and theWonderfulTeacher said. "Go, you'll have a great time!" Think she wants to get rid of me.
It should be a fun ride the 800ks from Melbourne to Sydney.

Awww, come ON... there's finally something like this in my home city, and I'll be in bloody America!

(26th-28th, I'll be at my friend's place in Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving. And JUST to rub it in... my birthday is the 28th, too!)

What we really need is some sort of network of some type composed of these newfangled computering engines that could allow you to get delicacies from around the world delivered to your doorstep. Can you imagine such a thing?

BA says "And you can bring me back Minties."

The implication here is that you're not coming?
*pouts*
I hear that the BA actually loves musk sticks more. When he says Minties he means musk sticks. Send him heaps...

Pie floaters! YUM! ;-)

Although that's more specifically a South Australian speciality.

Beer ... & BBQ .. snags, chops, prawns and meat pies and steak sandwhiches and, yes, it is getting near lunchtime and I'm getting hungry. ;-)

Looks good - a state or so away but if I can afford it .. I'm considering going. I'd like to. :-)

Question though - the TAM website linked is showing the Middle East there (Levantine coast /Israel / Lebanon / Egypt /Arabia /Red Sea / Meditterean Sea) viewed from space not Australia. Wouldn't the latter have been more appropriate or is that what they always show?

You can tell a lot about a culture by looking at what it eats.

Q: What's the difference between Australia and a pot of yoghurt?

A: If you leave the lid off a pot of yoghurt, it will eventually develop a culture.
