		<description>I&#039;m afraid I find this sort of photo pretty in the same way that the rainbow colors of an oil slick are pretty.  Appealing to the eye, yes, but tragic.  Imagine a day when the continents are difficult to identify from space because of widespread use of efficient lighting.

They don&#039;t seem to have a forum for discussion the way that APoD does, or I&#039;d ask there.</description>
