Greetings and Salutations…..
@Jens….that seems like a lot to have removed from one’s income…but then the list of items provided for it is even more impressive. It would be interesting to see what America would look like under a similar plan.
I assume, though that your tax rate is on a Federal level. Are there local taxes, sales/VAT on food and other items too? If so, what does that add to the tax burden. Also, is the system a “progressive” one where much lower incomes have credits applied to leave them with more cash, or is it a flat tax?

As a well-paid Dane I pay over 50% of my income to taxes. Taxes which, aside from making schools and universities free, health care free, pensions free, etc, also go to needy organizations including foreign support. As a Dane, your call for extra support has no effect on me. Just want to make that clear.
