I am an astronomer, writer, and skeptic. I likes reality the way it is, and I aims to keep it that way. My real name is Phil Plait, and I run the Bad Astronomy blog.

Felicia Day and Buffy Henshaw were great. I don't know what's hotter: the supernovas or the two gorgeous redheads.

And yes, Will Wheaton plays himself in a recurring role on The Big Bang Theory, with snappy dialogue between him and Jim Parsons. In last week's episode, Brent Spiner did a cameo in the last scene. LeVar Burton did a cameo last season.

Ha ha. Right? Everyone's kidding, right? Because, of course, Wil played the love child of Capt. Picard and Beverly Crusher, MD. Y'all did know that, correct?

This reminds me of something one of my professors told me. His little daughter asked him
"Will the sun ever go away?"
"Not to worry it'll be around for billions of years before it explodes, and we'll all be long dead when it happens."
"I'm gonna die?"
