I think the reason that some of you didn't care for this is the pacing. The guy who made it apparently wanted to cram in all four verses of the Grinch Song (which is sung by Thurl Ravenscroft, BTW) which makes the middle part drag. I think two would have been plenty to get the idea across. In fact, in the cartoon they stretch the song over three places to prevent exactly this.

The reason it seems to fit SW and (as Kyle @10 says) would fit with almost any villian, is that the structure of most adventure stories follows the heroic epic arc defined by Joseph Cambell (a teacher of Lucas's at USC) in "Hero With a Thousand Faces."

This is better then that Star Wars holladay special that pemered in 1978 and was so bad they have never shown it again. By the way Darth Vader was a bad guy from episodes 3-6 but at the end of Return of the Jedi he returns to the light side of the force he is no longer Darth Vader but Anakin Skywalker for the last time and he fullfils his destiny of destorying the sith :Palpiten and himself .

So, if you want something more original, check out this interview between Stephen Colbert and Neil deGrasse Tyson. It was done in Jan, 2010. I have no idea how I managed to miss this when it was produced. Anyway, here's the link,,,note that it is 1.5 hours long and, as with all things Colbert, pretty darn funny,,,

I didn't think this was very clever and have to agree with David. You could pretty much do the same thing with any villain from any movie. Maybe if the words actually synced with some kinda of story line.. but it was just the music over some scenes. :/ Sorry.

Check out the other clips by OneMinuteGalactica; most of them are funny (and shorter than the Grinch one). "Luke has OCD" is one of the better ones just for the editing that makes the real Star Wars scene seem fake...

What? The guy just took scenes from the first 3 Star Wars movies an edited them together along with the music from "How the Grinch stole Christmas". What's the big deal?

There was actually another fan film by a similar name done in 2004. It can be found <a href="http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2551508649917204384" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

This was supposed to be the first in an installment of 3, but sadly, was abandoned.
