No, actually, they’re totally not rare, but mostly never mention their orientation for people likely to be looking for unicorns. As I’m pretty sure Boing Boing is aware.

Misha@1: No, no, not “a chaser of unicorns”. A “chaser” in the drink sense – something that follows, to improve things. You have a shot of whiskey and a beer chaser, and the beer clears the aftertaste.

And a “unicorn” in the “it farts rainbows!” sense – something adorable that makes you go awwwwwwwww.

A “unicorn chaser” is, thus, an adorably cute thing to cleanse the palate of something that lingers. As opposed to “a creepy couple looking for HBB who will leave afterwards.”
