Celebrate Citizen Science

USA Science and Engineering Festival
April 16-17, Washington DC
SciStarter, Science Cheerleaders, Discover Magazine,  Astronomy Magazine and Public TV’s The Crowd & Cloud series producers will be on hand to get you started on your next project! Free, but attendees who register in advance will be entered into prize drawings.

San Diego Citizen Science Day Expo
April 16, La Jolla, California
Representatives from many citizen science projects, including the Urban Tides Initiative and Mark2Cure, will answer questions and introduce volunteer opportunities. Free and open to the public.


1st International ECSA Conference on Citizen Science
May 19-21, Berlin, Germany
The European Citizen Science Association is hosting its very first conference! Citizen science researchers, practitioners, and volunteers are welcome. Fees and registration are required.


Citizen Science at the Phillies!
April 16, Philadelphia, PA
Learn how to spot ZomBEES, ground-truth NASA satellite data, make 3D science selfies and more…all to advance scientific research! It’s citizen science at the Phillies game with the Philadelphia Science Festival and SciStarter!


Citizen Science, Ecology, and the Environment
April 16, Durham, NC
This event will include talks and panels on using citizen science in environmental monitoring, science education, and ecological research. Free, but registration is required.
