Too often the ugly, conflict-ridden side of the climate debate is what dominates the blogosphere and news coverage. To a great extent, that’s an expression of human predilection, which the media mirrors.
So it’s refreshing when I can hang out with a group of super-smart people who are at the forefront of new approaches to climate and sustainability issues. This week, I’ve been attending the annual Climate, Mind, and Behavior (CMB) symposium in Garrison, New York. I’m particularly interested in the social science work being done on the climate front, and that’s a lot of what the CMB project is about.
