I was touched by all of them in different ways as they shed light on an event that borders on the unimaginable, i.e. to experience up close and personal. I listen regularly to "American Routes" and have been listening for Nick Spitzer's comments. I am still in amazement of the woman who floated around her house on a mattress. She told this story so matter of factly and so beautifully. She is clearly a woman of some fiber and strength. Politicians, notably our current administration, abuse the phrase of the kind tht invoke "the American people." I wish that they knew some of them. They might then be humbled--OK, I deceive myself!--and also realize the singular honor of governing this nation.
