The Intelligent Designer Speaks

by Sean Carroll

Hear a rare interview with the Intelligent Designer. I’m not quite sure I agree that this is his “best work,” but what can you do? Artists.

“Best work” is a relative term, and thus far we really haven’t found anything to compare it to, have we? Let’s get on that whole “finding parallel universes” thing so we can see how we REALLY stack up against the competition. :)

Fave line: “On Day 7, I wasn’t resting. I was editing.”

Who is this dude (pardon my ignorance)? Not, as one might think at first sight, John Belushi or Stephen Wolfram. So, help me out.

Sorry, cynic. ID Theory doesn’t speculate about the identity of the Designer.

Belushi is much funnier. Even dead he’s funnier.

Sean – Thanks for brightening my day. Loved it!

    • Cosmic Variance Cosmic Variance is a group blog by people who, coincidentally or not, all happen to be physicists and astrophysicists:
      • Daniel Holz
      • JoAnne Hewett
      • John Conway
      • Julianne Dalcanton
      • Mark Trodden
      • Risa Wechsler
      • Sean Carroll
Our day (and night) jobs notwithstanding, the blog is about whatever we find interesting — science, to be sure, but also arts, politics, culture, technology, academia, and miscellaneous trivia. We have similar outlooks on many things, widely disparate opinions about others, and will do our best to keep the discourse reasonably elevated.
