Hi Lemming,

we're working on the author name position. The link I gave to the Symposium will eventually contain audio, slides, etc. To see what it'll be like you could look at last year's:

Mark,
Are there abstracts or recordings of the presentations online? I'd love to see the exoplanetary stuff.

And because no other commenters have mentioned it yet, with multiauthor blogs it is really useful to have the bloggers name at the top of the post, and not the bottom. Maybe I should direct my complaints to this guy instead:

Congrats on the move. All I ask is if there is a way to change the hypertext color a bit; I am having problems spotting the text links.

Inflation certainly doesn't require string theory. But looking at how inflation works in the context of string theory might lead you to discover some things you wouldn't otherwise have noticed; that's the kind of thing Silverstein is doing.

"She talked about some string theory models of the early universe (inflation, and string theory cosmic strings for you experts)"

Inflation does not require sting theory, does it? Good luck with your cold.

Hey Mark- long time no talk, but cool to see you regularly posting, even as CV has come to be hosted now by Satanic cultists (by their own admission ;-> ) -- anyway, pretty amazing, this whole election dealio, no? my fervent hope is that a much more pro-science flavor comes into the White House now, and we see a very different approach to both unpleasant but real scientific facts, *and* to funding physical sciences, in the coming years.

And, btw, if you think *you* were happy out there on the far left coast (which you may remember i'm actually a native of), just think what it was like out here in Central Ohio where we *knew* how our state voted counted -- i've never seen an entire hotel reception area packed full of more happiness-crazed people (downtown at the big Dem election night party, as the Ohio returns came in). and, of course, this was repeated worldwide, that eve, and over the next day.. what a night to remember, eh? phew. :->

That's right, the entire conference will be available soon and, as you say, previous years are there.

I just went to the link for the Symposium. It appears that the presentations from previous years are available and I can only assume that this years will be at some point in the future. Looks like some interesting stuff both from prior years as well as this years.

Thanks,
