We all recall Holger Bech Nielsen’s papers on advanced influences from the future, intent on stopping the LHC; Now one of those advanced influences is from HG Well’s `Time Machine’, and he is an `Eloi’:
From Huffington Post: A would-be saboteur arrested today at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland made the bizarre claim that he was from the future. Eloi Cole, a strangely dressed young man, said that he had travelled back in time to prevent the LHC from destroying the world.

TimG: Yes, Zuntz, Zlosnik, Zunckel & Zwart is a thoroughly interesting paper. Their… thorough application of statistical techniques in particular is impressive.
