The above quote also describes just about any airport I’ve been to in NA, even new ones. And, you forgot to mention the wonderful attitude of US customs agents! If you dare to be honest and check “business” as your reason for travel, you get shuttled off to a room and spend an hour being treated like a criminal by a swaggering asshole. And if you travel with a business associate from asia, get ready for yet more special treatment and long lineups. No wonder the US economy is in the tank. Next year we’re focusing on the EU – I’m not even kidding.

Actually, there are usually some available next to the “Try Economy plus!” seats – normally a column with 4×4 sockets on. You usually have to sit on the floor (more comfortable and spacious than the sample seats) but at least you can get charged up.

Terminal 1 is much better that the god-awful ‘international’ terminal with no shops or anything to speak of.
