"Pay to play Wi-Fi, extremely limited seating, no power outlets, hardly any vegetarian options for food and employees that ranged from unhelpful to actively hostile."

The above quote also describes just about any airport I've been to in NA, even new ones. And, you forgot to mention the wonderful attitude of US customs agents! If you dare to be honest and check "business" as your reason for travel, you get shuttled off to a room and spend an hour being treated like a criminal by a swaggering asshole. And if you travel with a business associate from asia, get ready for yet more special treatment and long lineups. No wonder the US economy is in the tank. Next year we're focusing on the EU - I'm not even kidding.

As @bilbo said, this twitter-like post made me unsubscribe from this blog's RSS. Maybe I'll come back when (if) it gets back to serious stuff.

Actually, there are usually some available next to the "Try Economy plus!" seats - normally a column with 4x4 sockets on. You usually have to sit on the floor (more comfortable and spacious than the sample seats) but at least you can get charged up.

Terminal 1 is much better that the god-awful 'international' terminal with no shops or anything to speak of.

I have vowed never to step foot in O'Hare again. Pay to play Wi-Fi, extremely limited seating, no power outlets, hardly any vegetarian options for food and employees that ranged from unhelpful to actively hostile. It was a negative experience.
