Yes, Brazilian physicists are working on a very diverse range of topics n gravity and cosmology.
Brazil is one of the few places from where lots of people working on torsion. (OTOH in US almost all NSF funds in gravitation are going to support the 2-body binary black hole and black hole-neutron star
mergers.
