Scared of Botox? Try Facial Flexing.

Flex-Away SystemIt’s been a tough month for Botox. First came reports of possible health risks from toxins in America’s favorite anti-wrinkle injections, and now potential competitors are banging at producer Allergan’s door. But for those seeking to keep needles out of their beauty regime, now there’s a product claiming it can keep aging customers both wrinkle- and toxin-free. Called the Flex-Away System, it consists of a plastic mouthpiece-like device with a rubber band that fits between the teeth. A regular “workout” consists of sticking the thing in your mouth and, well, flexing, for a recommended 40 to 70 reps per session. The device, claim its founders, effectively lifts and tightens muscles and skin tissues, and the results, according to the product’s Web site, bring users from this:

“Facial yoga,” or the use of exercises to tone facial muscles and increase blood flow, has been exploding in popularity as an alternative to cosmetic surgery, and it’s a good bet that as the baby boomers continue their inevitable climb towards their septuagenarian years, more products like this will hit the market. And if they all turn out to be bogus, well, there’s always injecting fat in our cheeks.

Is this an improved facial flex? It does not look the same as another facial toning aparatus also sold under a similar name, which was a hot item in skincare a decade ago. How many facial flex are one the market? Where can I purchase one?
    Have you tried it?

    HI.
I think the above website should answer a lot of your questions and concerns. I know it did mine.

In short, it is an improved facial flex from a previous version. While there is only one Facial Flex, my understanding is that there are similar facial exercisers:

    1) Flex Effect is strictly facial resistance training CD’s and a book (i.e. strictly exercises with no apparatus) at

    http://flexeffect.com/

    2) Facial Flex has a mouth piece (with exercising):

    Hope this helps, Mary

    Hi,

I bought the flexaway system about a month and a half ago, and have been using it diligently about three times a day trying for about 70-80 reps. I have noticed that my face has lifted and toned, and my jaw line has tightened, and my neck looks much tighter. I am very pleased with the product, although the customer service is not too good – it definitely works. My boyfriend has noticed a real difference. I do other manual exercises for my eyes and upper cheek muscles, but this device has even helped to tighten up my upper face. So far, I am very pleased with it.

Botox is a quick fix with inherent risks.

Exercising the face with an exerciser or doing facial yoga get results overtime.

However, face exercises provide more benefits. Top of my list are:
    1) Radiant complexion
    2) Tone and lift facial muscles
    3) Help to lose face fat

    Happy Exercising

I HAVE BEEN DOING FACIAL EXERCISES SINCE I WAS A TEENAGER ALONG WITH SIMPLE YOGA, AND AT 58 PEOPLE SAY THAT MY 46 YR OLD HUSBAND LOOKS MUCH OLDER THAN I DO . FOLKS LOOK TWICE WHEN MY 17 YR OLD GRAND SON CALLS ME GRAMA ,THINKING THE BOY IS MY SON. I ALSO DONT SMOKE OR DRINK ALCOHOL (I EAT CHOCOLATE AND DRINK DIET COKE FOR THE CAFFENE ONLY BAD HABITS) THERE ARE COUNTLESS FREE BOOKS AT THE LIBRARY ON YOGA AND SUCH SO WHY BUY SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU DO SOMETHING YOU COULD DO FOR FREE?? BUT EACH TO HIS OR HER OWN, IF IT TAKES A DEVICE TO MAKE YOU LOOK BETTER WHOS FACE IS IT ANYWAY?

I’ve read a lot about face exercising, but never heard of a specific device for it. Makes sense, we use devices to train the body also, why not the face.

I haven’t tried this product but I do have the Neck Slimmer which I have found to be effective providing I use it until I feel muscle burn.

I actually prefer doing exercises without a device, but the before and after picture shown here is pretty impressive. Furthermore, the price is reasonable, especially if you get two kits.
