Let us see more studies on this! We should remember that plankton are also in danger of dissolving from the carbonic acid that is created from seawater mixing with CO2 sinking into the ocean from our gluttonous fossil fuel burning…so this my be a moot point comparatively. We shall see…

This is an interesting result – I’ve always been interested to read that aerosols are still the least-well-understood component of the climate system. These kinds of feedbacks that lie beyond basic carbon cycling still have lots to be worked out. One typo – you say ozone is three molecules of oxygen; but it’s three atoms. Thanks.
