"Fishes raised in farms near the coastline are exposed to more pollution than wild fish, and therefore grow to be less nutritious."

Is this correct? I had thought the reason was that farmed fish eat fish meal, which is higher on the food chain than the food eaten by wild fish. Therefore, the fish accumulate more toxins. I am skeptical.
