Buzzing Past Enemy Lines
Sometimes, you can’t roll up a robot and jump over a fence—you need to be more subtle, blending in with the environment like a fly on the wall. Biomimicry is one way of doing just that. Tiny robotic flies, with wingspans of only 3 centimeters (1.18 inches) and weighing just 60 miligrams (0.002 lbs) are another cutting edge tool to get behind enemy lines. These tiny surveillance bots could help the military spy on the bad guys, or they could help you spy on your neighbor—not they we’re endorsing such behavior.

Little Dog looks more like a giant mutated frog, but as to: not clear what military purpose it could serve. How about mine-sniffer? Looks like an ideal size for hunting out boobytraps.
