Cute, and Bent on Taking Over The World!
The frighteningly named EATR (Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot) Project might be the next step toward a Judgment Day scenario. These robots are so slick they could live independently for years by gobbling up refuse like leaves and grass to generate electricity to keep them alive (they are vegetarians, so they won’t feast on human corpses as some originally speculated).

Little Dog looks more like a giant mutated frog, but as to: not clear what military purpose it could serve. How about mine-sniffer? Looks like an ideal size for hunting out boobytraps.
