Predators are adept at keeping up with technology. I see priests on the internet all the time, there’s a registry for them.

This is not ‘new’ – it’s been a message issued every year on Communications Sunday, and certainly since 2000 when JPII instructed the faithful to use the internet and embrace new media.

It may be preaching version 2.0, but it will still be the Gospel version 1.0.
