I believe without proof that the absolute worse soccer players are also born during this period. Further, no one born in this period has released a rock-n-roll album that I personally ranked as one of my favorite of all time.

Yo, there was a part in Super Freakonomics when they talked about when British soccer players were born. Turns out they all have extremely similar birthdays due to when the cut off dates are for youth soccer. So the kids who are "older" for their age (say, closer to their next birthday) have an advantage over the kids who are "younger" for their age. And this little tiny effect is profound later in life.

Either that or superstition wins this round.
