If the children come out with rainbow wigs and a strange attraction to white wash, a certain clown is in big trouble.

I suppose that explains why I've always found clowns profoundly unfunny. I must have been assigned to receive placebo clowns.

Don't knock clown-induced conception. My wife and I have two terrific kids and she says I'm the biggest bozo she's ever seen.
But seriously, folks, I heard one of the clowns interviewed on the BBC today. She says she doesn't wear heavy makeup like the clown in the picture, only a red nose, and dresses like a mad Frenchwoman.
The medical clowns spend their days visiting hospitals, working mainly with children, and consult with the medical staff to see what they can do to help each individual child, such as getting them to move their arms or legs if that's what's needed.
