So who is on the space station and how are we going to get back and forth to it? If there is no one in the space station why did we build it and waste all that money if we were not going to build another means to get to it? If there are people on it how are they going to get back to earth, just wait until it falls back down here? I think this is the stupidest thing we have ever done as far as space exploration. We (USA) should be at the lead on all this and not just stop in the middle(beginning) of it like this. We have much more to do and discover that should be maned and not just mechanical. Unless the government DID recover a UFO at Roswell and has a means to travel further and faster than they are telling us.

"the US has had no real plan for getting humans back up in space."

So Dreamchaser, Dragon, CST-100 and the MPCV don't even count as plans?

The figurines of the god, goddess, and seventeenth-century astronomer aren’t part of any of the scientific experiments also making the journey on NASA’s Juno probe. But, the press release is quick to note, “Of course, the miniature Galileo has his telescope with him on the journey.” Too bad he has no eyes
