<description>Besides the Lizards and other unwanted non native plants and animals that have invaded Florida, one of the very worst is the plant Kudzu. This I believe was introduced by President Harry Truman from Japan supposedly to help stop beach erosion. Now it has literally taken over the whole state. Native trees can hardly be seen anymore because they are covered by Kudzu. I have heard the plant grows a foot a day. There is no known solution as yet.The only way to try to get rid of it is to dig down deep and pull out all of the roots, and even then it will eventually grow back because it is virtually impossible to get it all.
