NCBI ROFL: Suicide and homicide and fluoride.

By ncbi rofl | February 9, 2012 7:00 pm

Age-adjusted rates of suicide and homicide and fluoride.

“Using state data from 1992 and 2000 instead of 1975, the author both confirmed and extended Lester’s 1987 study. Like Lester’s study, the present replication showed for 1992 (but not 2000) that the more people drinking fluoridated water, the lower the rates of crude and age-adjusted suicide (partial rs: -.25 and -.25, respectively). Crude and age-adjusted rates of homicide in 1992 and 2000 did not change with the fluoridation of public water. Effective interpretation requires more study.”

How about the rates of thyroid disease, which fluoride causes?  Thyroid disease is the only disease that the US government does not follow for incidence or prevalence, although it is forcing approximately 70% of Americans to bathe and/or drink fluoridated water.

    Fluoridation is a Hoax

Read the truth produced in the best scientific information on fluoridation here: ( You will see a petition signed by over 4000 professionals, including hundreds of dentists, hundreds of doctors, and other medical researchers calling on governments everywhere to stop fluoridation.

There are many large scientific studies there to show that drinking fluoridated water has no positive effect on cavity reduction and to show that it causes cancer, thyroid damage, broken hips from brittle bones, lowered IQ and other health problems.

THe World Health Organization studied 16 countries and showed fluoride is of no value for teeth. Most countries like China, India, and Japan has rejected it. Europe has rejected it and is 98% fluoride free. Many other large scientific studies in several countries show the same ineffectiveness.

Modern science shows that fluoride can enter the brain and cause damage.  Who’s to say what happens then?

    “The prolonged ingestion of
fluoride may cause significant damage to health and particularly to the nervous
system,” concludes a review of studies by researchers Valdez-Jimenez, et al.
published in Neurologia (June 2011). The research team reports, “It is
important to be aware of this serious problem and avoid the use of toothpaste
and items that contain fluoride, particularly in children as they are more
susceptible to the toxic effects of fluoride”

What the fuck is this shit?

Not only is this study not a “ROFL”, it’s methodologically crap. Do you just read the titles? Have you any idea how wank this paper is? They propose no hypothesis to test and give no proposed mechanism or even any rationalle for fluoridation having psychoactive effects. Why would it?

Correlation doesn’t equal causation. They just pick two random variables, fluoridation and suicide, then compare them for no rhyme nor reason, and have the audacity to claim conclusive results.
