		<description>yeah. and sometimes the system switches equilibrium. kill whales, more krill, more penguins. stop killing whales, and they can&#039;t bounce back because they don&#039;t eat/kill penguins. though i guess killers and leopard seals do.</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve read that the population of  squid has exploded. They&#039;re fished less intensively and some of their predators have been reduced in numbers. (We may love whales, but many species are hard on squid.)</description>
